Spray8, an all-in 1, all-natural and the first of its kind, is an innovative wound care spray for home, commercial and medical use, made in Malaysia and imported locally by Medport Inc.
As a new product imported by a fairly smaller distributor, the brief was to create and roll out a marketing plan that works around several limitations: FDA approval of claims with a cosmetic registration, communicating a brand new product format and stregnthening a brand identity that is outdated but cannot be changed as a distributor.
As distribution goes commercial, a smaller size is created for the market. a brand new product description and tagline along with an updated packaging is created. All copywriting is new and adapted to suit the local commercial market.
As a brand new product boasting with numerous claims, organising information for multiple audiences, commercial and medical, with limitations of FDA approvals such as restrictions on the use of healing as a claim, is a handful. A new communication plan was created for the client to still communicate the same message.
