A one of a kind project in collaboration with slow fashion footwear brand, Muni Muni, we have meticulously hand painted the wooden heel of each shoe that has been carefully made by craftsmen of Marikina. An ode to Slow Fashion, each shoe was painted differently in shapes and forms that evokes a sense of slowness and calm.

 

As an artist with no background in painting, getting the right colors and tools to achieve this was a challenge.  But this project was one of my firsts and truly one for the books! With two design runs, you can still catch a few pieces in limited sizes through Muni Muni's website.
